The CX Tools Development team at Cohesity is on a mission to streamline the troubleshooting process, reducing time to resolution of customer issues as well as making life easier for our support staff. [ROLE Pitch] As a Software Engineer III, you will be an individual contributor focused on developing and maintaining tools to make our support and services teams more efficient and able to effectively support our customers. As part of the development process, you will work and collaborate with a global team of technical people resources.
We are a passionate team of customer obsessed developers with a desire to help both our internal and external customers through automation, analysis and efficiency. We are looking to expand our development team to help progress our roadmap, reduce our timelines and provide new, fresh ideas and perspectives.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
You will use Java to develop tools used to automate data processing, analyze and present data to users
You will manage Java applications hosted by Apache Tomcat on Linux servers
You will test new work before deploying to production systems
You will troubleshoot issues with the tools we maintain
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
Core Java development experience (multi-threading, collections, file handling, JWT, JSON, Spring Boot and Spring Security)
Apache Tomcat experience
UI experience (JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Material Design)
SQL knowledge
Linux experience
Development & collaboration tools (Bitbucket/Git, Jira, Confluence)
Angular and/or Python experience

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
