POSITION SUMMARY

We seek experienced, passionate, and resourceful full-stack engineers to join our team. You will collaborate cross-functionally with other engineers and contribute to the design and development of our products across backend and web stacks.

This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible. EarnIn provides excellent employee benefits, including healthcare, internet/cell phone reimbursement, a learning and development stipend, and potential opportunities to travel to our Palo Alto HQ. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive the design & implementation of new features - break down complex problems into their bare essentials, translate this complexity into elegant design, and create high-quality, clean code
  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of our community members
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (data science, product, design, marketing, analytics).
  • Care passionately about producing high-quality, efficient designs and code
  • Constantly learning about new technologies and industry standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of development experience in Software Engineering
  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficient in at least one JVM programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Scala
  • Experience with at least one central framework like Spring, Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience working with at least one of the following data stores: Postgres, MySQL, Dynamo DB
  • Experience with front-end web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and ReactJS, with the ability to render server-side and client-side content
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and microservice architecture is a strong plus.
