Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines: Assist with the development and upkeep of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) pipelines that move data from various sources into our data warehouses and lakes.
- Support data quality: Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our datasets.
- Troubleshoot and monitor: Aid in monitoring data pipelines and infrastructure and diagnose and resolve basic issues as they arise.
- Document processes: Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and schemas for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Support large data volumes and design for scalability
- As a key member of the team drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and process improvements to build world class analytical capabilities for web analytics, optimization, experimentation and personalization.
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: Product Management, Project Management, Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and other Data Engineers.
- Build GenAI based solutions to solve for customers/Experts benefit or internal productivity gains
Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Masters in computer science or related field.
- Experience in developing data pipelines, creating ETLs, and working in distributed systems.
- Excellent SQL skills
- Ideal candidate to have 3+ years of experience in end-to-end data warehouse implementations
- Hands on experience in AWS technologies (S3, EMR, Redshift) or other cloud technologies.
- Hands on experience in any of the programming languages (Python, Java, etc).
- Knowledge of AI / ML, Generative AI
- Solid communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the Software design and architecture process.
- Experience with unit testing and data quality automation checks
- Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
