About the job

Goliath Partners seeks a skilled Software Engineer for a top quantitative prop trading firm. This firm holds over $500 billion in AUM and is globally ranked in the top 8 within the high-frequency trading (HFT) space. The role is crucial in building new desks across multiple asset classes, focusing primarily on HFT.

Successful candidates will engage in hands-on development, offering remote flexibility with an option to work from the New York City headquarters.

  • Contribute to 0-1 Greenfield Development projects.

  • Handle tick data and develop algorithms.

  • Work on data structures and latency software engineering.

  • Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers for optimal performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.

  • Proficiency in C++ and exposure to Python.

  • Experience in low latency or ultra-low latency environments.

  • Experience working with tick data.

  • Extensive experience in algorithm development and data structures.
