About the role
We are hiring Software Developers (0-3 years of experience) to join multiple teams across our products, including:
- Facetune (Mobile): A leading photo-editing app powered by advanced AI models.
- Photo & Video Apps (Mobile): Award-winning editing tools for both professional creators and casual users.
- LTX Studio (Web): Our newest AI-powered video creation platform, enabling anyone to turn an idea into a full production.
- Popular Pays (Web): A large-scale influencer marketing platform, including AI agents, event-driven architectures, and deep integrations with social media APIs.
As a Software Developer at Lightricks, you’ll work on cutting-edge AI-driven applications, contributing to high-performance, scalable systems that reach millions of users worldwide. This role offers mentorship, hands-on experience with diverse technologies, and continuous learning opportunities in an innovative, fast-paced, AI-driven environment.
What you will be doing
- Develop features and functionalities for mobile or web applications, working on both front-end and back-end components.
- Participate in software design discussions to create scalable architectures and intuitive user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring software quality and reliability.
- Optimize performance for real-time AI-driven applications, handling high-resolution images, videos, and complex data processing.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate state-of-the-art machine learning models into production-ready applications.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team discussions on software improvements.
Your skills and experience
- Strong foundational knowledge in computer science, particularly:
- Algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Multithreading and asynchronous programming principles.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C++, Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
- Passion for software development, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.
- Previous experience as a software developer, whether in industry, internships, or academic projects.
- Familiarity with image processing, graphics, or computer vision - a big advantage.
- Understanding of AI models, machine learning, and neural networks - an advantage.
