Job Summary: Group 1001 is searching for an experienced content creator to capture and create engaging social content around the athletes and properties sponsored by Group 1001 and its subsidiaries including the Indiana Pacers/Indiana Fever, Andretti Autosport, the Indianapolis 500, Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge (LPGA Tour event), the Billie Jean King Cup and more. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, experienced in content capture and loves exploring new ways to deliver content. The Social Media Content Creator will create for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and emerging platforms. Main Accountabilities: Shoot and edit dynamic video content on-site at events sponsored by Group 1001 Write copy and publish content to all platforms Assist in coming up with ideas for shoots Assist in building out the content calendar for the year Create simple graphics for social media when needed Browse social for user generated content that would make sense for Group 1001 social Keep current with storylines and big events coming up for Group 1001 Travel to events sponsored by Group 1001 to collect content Travel to shoots with athletes/properties to collect B Roll for timely or future content Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications: Shoot and edit dynamic video content on-site at events sponsored by Group 1001 Write copy and publish content to all platforms Assist in coming up with ideas for shoots Assist in building out the content calendar for the year Create simple graphics for social media when needed Browse social for user generated content that would make sense for Group 1001 social Keep current with storylines and big events coming up for Group 1001 Travel to events sponsored by Group 1001 to collect content Travel to shoots with athletes/properties to collect B Roll for timely or future content Other duties and projects as assigned Ability to think strategically and be solution oriented.
