SK162 - Housekeeper - Manhattan, NY

Overview

A wonderful family of 4 located in Manhattan, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to join their team ASAP. The general schedule will be 4 days a week, flexible on which days but ideally Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm, for 32 hours per week guaranteed.  The family has 2 young children, who have their own nannies, and additional staff in the home, the housekeeper must be comfortable with kids and in a busy household. This position requires someone who has experience laundering fine clothing and name brand items.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized household environment - Ensuring all rooms always remain clean and presentable
• Perform laundry duties including washing, ironing, folding, and putting away clothes. This also includes laundering name brand and luxury items
• Ability to care for specialty surfaces/materials and wardrobes
• Restocking any supplies such as toiletries, pantry items, etc
• Collaborate with other household staff to always remain a team player
• Create and maintain home organization

Requirements

• Previous experience as a housekeeper
• Exceptional hands-on housekeeping and laundry skills

• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Must be comfortable around kids
• Must have a US Passport, Green Card, or EAC

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly rate is $30-$45, based on experience
