Peraton is seeking a Web Developer to join the team in support of a development environment to help drive system innovation for related services and designing web-based applications with a focus on performance, usability, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers.
- Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products.
- Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information.
- Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
- Develops custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users and provide desired information.
- Creates web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations. Develops new web applications through packaged and customized applications. Creates web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other languages to make business applications accessible.
- Designs and implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.
- May create enterprise-wide Intranet.
- Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
