Senior Solutions Engineer
About the job
• Join sales and customer success calls as the technical voice in the room
• Scope out integration paths with Uploadcare’s APIs (uploads, file transformations, CDN delivery, AI features, etc.)
• Translate business goals into technical implementation plans
• Answer technical questions in pre-sales and post-sales cycles, including architecture, performance, and security topics
• Build and deliver demos, sample integrations, and technical content (docs, code snippets, walkthroughs)
• Act as the liaison between the customer and internal product/engineering when it comes to roadmap needs or feature discussions
• Support marketing with technical input for whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and campaigns
• Maintain a pulse on our customer base and help customer success teams identify white space and expansion opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, etc.)
- Strong technical foundation: you're comfortable reading docs, building API integrations, and explaining architectural trade-offs
- Experience working with frontend frameworks like React, or JAMstack platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain complex ideas simply and clearly
- You're just as comfortable on a Zoom call with a CTO as you are walking a developer through an integration
- You are a team player who is focused on results while being considerate of everyone else (relationships are just as important as results).
