Job Summary:

The Global AI Solutions Team is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - AI to join our fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions leveraging AI technologies. The focus of this role is to apply industry best practices and deliver high-quality software products in an agile environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering optimal solutions for complex problems by leveraging the latest AI techniques and innovations. This position offers the opportunity to lead engineering teams, manage project execution, and contribute to the design and development of AI-based software systems.

Major Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to gather business requirements and evaluate solution approaches.

• Define and document detailed solution designs aligned with Chubb and industry-standard architecture principles.

• Break down development work into individual tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress regularly.

• Develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable code that meets business objectives and adheres to web development best practices.

• Work with the business and technology team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate, refine and prioritize user stories.

• Manage project stakeholder expectations and issue communications on progress.

• React to shifting priorities without compromising deadlines and momentum.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.

• 7+ Years of software engineering experience with knowledge of frontend scripting using Angular and back-end scripting using either NodeJS, Python or Java.

• Experience with API design and integration: Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services, which is often critical in AI solution architectures.

• Experience with version control systems: Proficiency with Git or similar tools for source code management.

• Experience building software on top of major container technology (Kubernetes, Docker etc.)

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and Cloud Deployment.

• Experience leveraging AI capabilities through Large Language Model (LLM) APIs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.

• Experience in working with NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB is preferred.

• Experience in leveraging Azure Cloud Services like Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Cosmos DB, etc. is a bonus.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills: Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks to effectively manage iterative development.
