We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer/ Architect to help our customers realise the value of Seldon’s technology. You’ll work hands-on with customers across pre- and post-sales, leading POC, shaping solutions, and supporting our growth as part of a talented GTM team.
About the opportunity
- You will drive our growth through the ability to translate the technical capabilities of Seldon technology into business value for our global clients (predominantly US and EU)
- You will be responsible for supporting the successful closing of new business and upsell opportunities through performing technical demonstrations and building and managing proof of concepts with prospective clients, aligned to their business needs
- You will be responsible for the creation of success criteria and value cases to articulate clearly to clients the quantitative impact of Seldon technology
- You will confidently communicate with a variety of Senior stakeholders across the full sales lifecycle (pre and post sales), this requires a strong practical understanding of the MLOps lifecycle, Kubernetes, and cloud native technologies
- You will act as a trusted advisor to our Customers and evangilising Seldon in the market
- You will partner collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Product & Tech, contributing a balanced view with combined commercial and technical understanding and empathy
- You will quarterback the Customer Success and Customer Support team with technical knowledge and commercial acumen
- You will deliver internal knowledge sharing and upskill sessions across the internal Seldon team
- Alongside VP Sales, you will support the continuous improvement of our solutions engineering processes and strategy
About you
- Established experience in an enterprise software pre-sales capacity (technical client-facing role) and ideally post-sales too
- Proven track record of value-based technical sales success through demonstrations, trials, and POCs
- Excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills to a range of both commercial and technical client stakeholders
- Understanding of and ability to articulate the customer journey/ to the market motion
- Experience working with cloud-native technologies; good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and comfortable working with Linux
- A keen interest and the capability to learn /or experience and understanding of the machine learning lifecycle; working with popular machine learning frameworks (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow etc.), and data science practices (scripting with Python, Jupyter notebooks etc.)
