We seek an innovative and passionate Senior Software Engineer to help create the next big thing in Enterprise Knowledge Platform solutions for User Financial Data. You will join our team of world-class experts developing the AlphaSense platform. The team is right at the core of what we do and responsible for implementing cutting-edge technology for building scalable, secure & reliable enterprise solutions.
You will focus on solving larger technical challenges while leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications and act as the primary point of contact.

- Writing high-quality, performant, and industry-standard code
- Develop product expertise, and technical mastery and contribute to a team
- Clarify requirements & implement effective solutions
- Evolve the technical maturity and ability of the organization by applying new technology and practices through constant learning and innovation
- Collaborate with teams in global locations and across functions in some cases.
- Follow the engineering processes, DevOps practices, and trends inside the company
- Mentoring Software Engineers to reduce development iterations
- 4-7 years of experience in Backend Development
- Proficient in one or both of the following programming languages: Java, Python
- Good knowledge of any or all cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of SQL & NO-SQL databases
- Ability to carefully break down the problem into small pieces
- Can communicate his/her thoughts quickly and then act upon feedback promptly
- Experience in building stateless and stateful microservice architecture.
- Experience with Observability tools & platforms
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Experience with working on Dockers, K8s
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development
- Good understanding of repository management systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab
- Experience in asynchronous processing of data
