About the Role
We are looking for a senior recruiter to own and execute Nelo’s recruiting strategy across Mexico and the U.S. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will directly source, engage, and close world-class talent across engineering, data science, risk, and commercial functions.
You will report directly to the CTO, and collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders.
Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting across all functions and levels, from sourcing to closing.
Partner with executives to define role requirements, assess candidates, and guide hiring decisions.
Proactively source passive candidates and build robust talent pipelines for critical hires.
Develop and implement scalable recruiting processes that optimize for speed, quality, and candidate experience.
Act as a trusted ambassador of Nelo’s culture and mission in every candidate interaction.
Requirements
5+ years of recruiting experience, with proven success in high-growth technology companies.
Track record of sourcing and closing top technical, product, and business talent.
Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and funnel optimization.
Excellent communicator who can build trust with candidates and executives alike.
Hands-on, scrappy, and execution-oriented — thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment.
