Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead QA processes for new software features and products, collaborating with development teams from the early design stage.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and strategies for functional and non- functional testing (e.g., performance, security).
• Implement and maintain automated test frameworks, using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and Postman.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including regression testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
• Analyze testing results, identify bugs, and ensure prompt bug resolution.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Train and mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers on best practices and advanced testing techniques.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to define quality metrics and ensure they are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
• Expertise in designing test frameworks and leading test automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing.
• Solid understanding of database systems, SQL queries, and backend testing.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
