Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Production Manager to join a well-established food manufacturer who are incredibly busy and projected to double their turnover in the next five years!
You will need to be quite a hands-on Production Manager; this isn’t a desk-based role this is very much on the factory floor with the team.
You’ll essentially be the soundboard between the team and the Directors.
About You:
• Proven Leadership skills in a Food Manufacturing environment, within Bakeries due to the nature of the work.
• Dynamic approach to your work, not a sit back approach.
• Track record of delivering strategic projects and managing costs effectively.
• Effective communicator with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Ability to deal with complexity and change, prioritise effectively, and deliver within short timescales.
• As Senior Production Manager, you will need an analytical mindset.
What will you be doing?
• As the Senior Production Manager, you’ll have the support of the Operations Manager and Factory Manager.
• You’ll set targets and KPIs.
• Report to the Operations Director.
• You will develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to enhance employee productivity.
• Simply put, it’s all about driving the business forward, they have massive plans for growth.
