We are expanding our U.S. sales team and are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to manage key grocery and drug channel customers. Reporting to the Director of Sales (USA), this role is responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned national and regional grocery accounts through strategic planning, strong customer partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you will be doing:
• Achieve or exceed all sales and profitability KPIs across assigned customers and channel portfolio
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities using a strategic and entrepreneurial approach
• Drive growth within existing accounts by building strong partnerships and executing both short- and long-term business strategies
Lead new product introductions and category expansion initiatives that support revenue growth and brand development
• Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive account plans, including promotional strategies and financial performance
• Monitor and analyze competitive activity, market dynamics, and evolving customer and consumer trends
• Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class customer service while meeting corporate financial and strategic objectives
• Manage all required administrative responsibilities, including business plans, reports, presentations, pricing controls, and performance evaluations
• Contribute to the broader success of the organization by working collaboratively and adapting to changing priorities
What we need from you:
• Proven experience managing and growing sales within a consumer products organization at a National or Key Account Manager level
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing accounts within the grocery channel – Strong preference in experience with Whole Foods, Kroger, Albertsons, or Publix
• Strong working knowledge of broker and distributor management within the channel
• Proven track record of achieving business development, revenue growth, and margin improvement across a portfolio of products
• Experience developing and executing customer account plans and trade marketing strategies while effectively managing budgets
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Sales Operations, S&OP, Marketing, and Customer Service
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, presentation and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel within the US and attend trade shows as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline preferred
