As the Solutions Engineering/ Presales Manager for the APAC region, you will play a pivotal role in driving Mambu's growth and success in one of our most dynamic markets. This is a regional leadership position responsible for guiding the high-performing regional Solutions Engineering (Presales) team. You will be a key strategic partner to the Market Sales Director, ensuring that our go-to-market motion is effective, our technical presales engagements are world-class, and we are converting the right opportunities into long-term, successful Mambu customers. This role is a unique blend of technical leadership, commercial acumen, and strategic sales management

What you’ll do

  • Lead and Mentor: Manage, coach, and develop the APAC Solutions Engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive GTM Strategy: Partner closely with the Market Sales Director to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the APAC region, ensuring tight alignment between the sales and presales functions.
  • Strategic Deal Support: Provide senior oversight and hands-on support for the most complex and strategic deals, ensuring that our solutions are positioned effectively to solve customer challenges and create business value.
  • Opportunity Qualification: Implement and manage rigorous deal qualification processes to ensure that the team's resources are focused on opportunities that align with Mambu's product capabilities and strategic goals.
  • Executive Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key technical stakeholders at prospective and existing customers.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the key liaison between the APAC field teams and global functions, including Product, Partners and Marketing, to ensure feedback from the field informs our global strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Own the performance metrics, forecasting, and operational cadence for the regional Solutions Engineering team to ensure efficiency and predictability.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role managing a regionally-based sales or, preferably, presales (Solutions Engineering / Sales Engineering) team within the core banking solutions, digital banking platforms, payments or related fintech products.
  • A strong track record of successfully selling complex technology solutions to incumbent banks and large financial institutions across the APAC region.
  • Deep expertise in navigating long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level executives.
  • Significant experience in the financial services sector, with a particular emphasis on the core banking, retail banking and/or SME banking segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute a successful go-to-market strategy in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a credible advisor to senior business and technology leaders.
