A growing investment-focused business in Cape Town is looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Finance Manager to lead financial operations across the group and its project entities. Reporting directly into executive leadership, this role offers a broad scope from consolidations and compliance through to budgeting, project finance structuring, and stakeholder engagement. This is a hands-on position that will suit a qualified finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys building robust financial systems, leading people, and driving strategic insights.

What you will be doing:
- Leading and mentoring junior finance staff
- Managing financial operations across group and project companies
- Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements (IFRS / IFRS for SMEs)
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis
- Leading audits and managing tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Company Tax, etc.)
- Supporting project finance structuring and managing lender relationships
- Driving improvements in financial systems, automation, and internal controls
- Providing strategic financial insights to executive and board-level stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory obligation
- CA(SA) with 2-5 years post-articles experience
- Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance
- Experience in project finance, treasury, or corporate finance is highly beneficial
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience working with tools like Xero, Draftworks, and ERP systems is advantageous
- A self-starter who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and adaptable
