Role Summary
Job Description: Responsible for RAN product testing and deployment. Support the deployment of software in the production networks integration, verification and troubleshooting. Act as a technical lead in projects, prepare acceptance test plans and work with customers for execution. Create solution design, including architecture and overall solution integration using multi-vendor, cross-geo strategy. Provide key inputs for technical decisions relating to system requirements and system architecture. Participate in customer workshops, provide solution and technical expertise, and deliver solution presentations. Share and transfer knowledge, mentor and collaborate with other team members. Interact with technical and non-technical teams of partner and vendor companies, on latest emerging technologies for RAN applications.Key Responsibilities
- Wireless RAN systems in 4G and 5G
- 5G ORAN / vRAN split functions (7-2x, RU, DU, CUCP, CUUP)
- 5G SA and NSA architectures
- Hands-on experience in testing of protocols Layer3, RRC and NAS layers, Protocol stack and Layer2, PDCP, RLC and MAC, and Layer1, PHY
- E2E solutioning with at least 1 public cloud provider, including: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or IBM Cloud
- Assessing architectural artifacts and improving productivity of engineering teams by deploying appropriate CI/CD tools for faster integration
- Experience in telecommunications networking concepts, including SDN/NFV, virtualization, containerization, cloudification and edge computing

Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in telecommunications engineering. Will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a directly related field or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in telecommunications engineering.
Must have two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Wireless RAN systems in 4G and 5G
- 5G ORAN / vRAN split functions (7-2x, RU, DU, CUCP, CUUP)
- 5G SA and NSA architectures
