Through the creation of life-simplifying smart HVAC controls for homes and businesses, we’re helping our customers save energy, money, and the planet we share.As we continue to grow across North America, we’re looking for a seasoned Director of Sales based in Canada to lead our B2B and channel sales efforts, helping us accelerate Mysa’s impact across commercial and enterprise markets.

Who You Are

You’re a strategic, data-driven sales leader who thrives in a fast-growing, mission-oriented environment. You bring deep experience leading high-performing B2B sales teams and have successfully built partnerships with organizations across both Canada and the U.S.

You’re comfortable selling complex solutions to diverse business customers, from retailers and real estate organizations to energy services companies and restaurant chains, and you know how to turn relationships into long-term growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do : As the Director of Sales, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and take ownership of MysaHQ’s B2B sales strategy and execution. You will:

  • Develop and execute MysaHQ’s B2B sales strategy targeting retailers, real estate organizations, energy services providers, and restaurant chains.
  • Identify and close high-value deals across Canada and the U.S., driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a remote, high-performing sales team that delivers consistent, measurable results.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, quotas, and sales processes to ensure scalable, predictable growth.
  • Establish and maintain key executive relationships, leading contract negotiations and partnership development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align go-to-market and channel strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and strategic insights to the CRO and executive team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8-12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success driving sales growth with Canadian and U.S. customers.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to retail, real estate, energy, or commercial sectors.
  • Strong ability to negotiate complex deals and manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience scaling remote or hybrid sales teams.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with building automation, HVAC systems, or energy management technology.
  • Established network within real estate, retail, or energy services industries.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
