We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Lviv/Kyiv!
About the job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our live casino games division. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our real-time gaming platforms. This role involves working with large-scale distributed systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance while enabling fast and reliable deployments. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor peers, establish best practices, and drive automation and observability improvements across the platform.
What You'll get to do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for real-time gaming services.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and workloads for scalability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Helm and ArgoCD.
- Monitor and improve system performance using the kube-prometheus-stack and custom observability solutions.
- Ensure database reliability, performance tuning, and HA for PostgreSQL.
- Operate and optimize messaging systems using Kafka.
- Manage and maintain caching and session management layers with Redis.
- Collaborate closely with backend teams (Node.js) to support efficient and secure deployments.
- Drive security, compliance, and automation across infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture within the team.
What You need to know:
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or on-prem clusters).
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL database administration and performance tuning.
- Proven experience managing Kafka clusters and topics in production.
- Experience with Helm and ArgoCD for application delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Prometheus / kube-prometheus-stack for monitoring and alerting.
- Operational experience with Redis in distributed environments.
- Familiarity with Node.js application deployment and runtime considerations.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in high-pressure environments.
