About the job

About Set Reset

Set Reset is a design studio with data at its core. We turn complexity into clarity, transforming data into stories that fuel growth and open up opportunity. Based in London and working internationally, our work spans print and interactive data visualisations, UI/UX, motion, immersive installations and beyond.

We’re format-agnostic, audience-obsessed, and proudly independent. Delivering bold, award-winning creative for global brands, start-ups and agencies alike. We’re also a friendly, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work (and enjoys the occasional pub lunch).

The role

We’re looking for a senior designer to help shape standout creative. From first sketch to final pixel. You’ll work closely with the creative director and wider team to define ideas, refine execution, and ensure our work is as sharp strategically as it is visually.

This is a hybrid role based in our Hackney Wick studio, with in-person collaboration Tuesday to Thursday and remote working on Mondays and Fridays.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading design thinking and execution across brand, digital and experiential formats
  • Collaborating with animators, developers and client teams to bring ideas to life
  • Presenting your work internally and to clients, with clarity and confidence
  • Championing craft, process and attention to detail in every stage of a project
  • Staying curious and pushing your practice forward. Exploring new tools, technologies and creative approaches

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital or visual communication design
  • A sharp, confident portfolio that shows off your creative thinking and execution
  • A structured, systems-led mindset combined with a love of visual storytelling
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Comfortable working on a Mac
  • An interest in data visualisation, interactivity and innovative design formats
  • Boundless curiosity, independence, and a hunger to do the best work of your career

Bonus points for:

  • Motion design (After Effects, Cavalry, Premiere Pro)
  • 3D experience (Cinema 4D, Blender or Houdini)

What we offer:

  • £60,000 starting salary
  • £1,000 annual personal development budget
  • 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas closedown
  • Hybrid working (Mon & Fri from home)
  • Pension scheme
  • The chance to work on category-defining projects with ambitious clients
