About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, a knack for complex problem-solving, and a strong background in data analytics and engineering.
Prerequisites:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python is required, with a demonstrated understanding of their applications in data engineering, analytics, and data science.
- Designed, implemented, and optimized robust data pipelines using Python-based frameworks, ideally with experience in Airflow or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in setting up complex automations for diverse business use cases using Python.
- Worked with various database types including MySQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Timeseries databases, S3 etc ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Utilized different APIs for data manipulation and project-specific needs, demonstrating strong integration skills.
- Proven experience with data science and implementing machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics and data engineering, showing a track record of progressive responsibility and success.
- Strong skills in Excel for data analysis, manipulation, and presentation.
