Role Overview

This role is critical for building, optimizing, and maintaining Verto's data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring reliable and high-quality data to drive our financial solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Enhance and optimize the Data Warehouse, implementing CI/CD for data processes.

• Conceptualize, design, and build scalable data architecture and models.

• Optimize ELT pipelines and ensure data integrity and quality.

• Define data governance and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Own the data engineering process from scoping to execution.

What You Need

• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience.

• Expert experience with data warehouses and ETL pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Expertise with Git for version control.

• Proven experience with various Cloud Data Platforms.

• Significant experience with automation, integration, and CI/CD tools.

• Clear communication and collaborative mindset.

Best If You Have

• Experience with AWS, Snowflake and Databricks.

• Worked in an early stage or growing stage start-up

• Experience within the FinTech/Finance/FX industry.

• Experience with real-time data pipelines.

• Knowledge of and experience with data observability tools.
