Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team and play a key role in implementing our enterprise-wide Data Warehouse blueprint. The business has already defined its reference architecture and blueprints, along with a growing number of prioritized use cases ready for implementation. You will work alongside Data Engineers, Architects, and Business stakeholders to bring the architecture to life and enable value-driven analytics and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a modern, scalable data platform built on Data Vault 2.0 principles, leveraging VaultSpeed automation to accelerate delivery. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to implement use cases from the established data warehouse blueprint. Develop and maintain a modern Data Warehouse solution based on Data Vault architecture. Use VaultSpeed or similar automation tools to streamline the development of Data Vault models. Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting. Ensure the data warehouse aligns with governance, quality, and security standards. Collaborate with Data Architects to ensure alignment with the reference architecture. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data ingestion, transformation, and availability. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer or similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Data Vault modeling and implementation. Strong proficiency in SQL (performance tuning, complex joins, window functions, etc.). Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns. Familiarity with modern data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift). Experience working with enterprise data architectures, blueprints, and reference models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have Experience with cloud data platforms- GCP Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data projects. Experience with VaultSpeed or other data warehouse automation tools (preferred). Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks. Exposure to business intelligence or analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
