ABOUT THIS ROLE:
As a Senior Data Analyst at Prizeout, you will tackle ambiguous challenges and build analytical tools as part of the data and analytics team. You will discover and deliver insights that drive value for our clients and internal teams. Our ideal candidate is a forward-thinker who thrives in tackling big, undefined problems in new ways. They will be able to execute on projects independently and effectively communicate their findings across the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create models and frameworks that uncover insights otherwise buried in our raw data
  • Collaborate on innovative initiatives that build a better understanding of our user, partner, and merchant behaviors
  • Dive deeply into Prizeout’s algorithms and logic, understanding how they impact our marketplace dynamics and utilize that knowledge to interpret trends in data
  • Partner with data leadership to create meaningful, results-driven analyses and reports with recommendations that drive real impact
  • Create data-driven insights to support analytical needs across our engineering, product, partners, merchants, and operations teams to power essential products and services
  • Deliver data analyses and solutions to drive new business

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and analytical roles
  • Experience in data mining, cohort analysis, A/B testing and knowledge of quantitative methods (statistics, machine learning, etc.)
  • Proficiency with open-source languages and systems such as SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, etc.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize and convey learnings to others
  • Desire to drive business objectives through quantitative / predictive work
  • Must be willing to work full-time in NYC; this is not a remote role
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
  • The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000
