- Collaborate with the senior Business Analyst to understand business requirements and systematically document, validate, and translate them into functional specifications for the development team.
- Test and validate the technical solution to ensure that it aligns with business requirements and the expected functionality.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of business and functional needs.
- Ensure that the final implementation meets all business requirements and delivers the expected outcomes.
- Identify and analyze recurring incidents at various sites to determine underlying issues.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and propose permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct feasibility studies on potential long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Oversee the implementation of proposed solutions, ensuring effective resolution of root causes.
Education:
- Relevant tertiary business qualification(s) with experience related to a tertiary B Degree and/or Business Analysis courses
- BSc or BCom in computer science, informatics or management Degree advantageous
- 3 - 5 years' experience in software functional specification, software business requirements specification, and application software design
- 3 - 5 years' experience in writing software business requirement specifications
- Experience in working with / designing / implementing databases and SQL scripting
- Product analysis, and data testing
- Understanding of banking best practices
- Strong project management knowledge
