Our ML Platform team is responsible for building Lightricks’ ML serving platform, which hosts all of the company’s ML and Gen AI models. Our goal is to create streamlined processes to bring functional research code and AI models to production grade systems, where millions of our apps users enjoy this magic.
Your day-to-day job will involve
- Take a key role in designing and building our ML platform, working closely with our devops engineers, researchers and product engineering teams.
- Design and develop reliable and scalable production core services that are used by millions of users of our apps every day.
- Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting.
- Work with cross-functional teams across Lightricks to understand their needs and translate them into platform capabilities.
- Learn and apply industry best practices and share this knowledge with other teams through guidance, lectures and workshops.
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspire others to do the same
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience developing production backend systems in Python (preferred) or some other object-oriented language (Golang, Java, C++, C#, etc.).
- Hands on experience in building, deploying and maintaining scalable backend systems in a cloud environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly independent, accountable and a team player, with an ability to own tasks from planning to release.
- Good understanding of critical production systems concepts - high availability, reliability and scalability.
- Experience in system and API design.
- B.Sc. in computer science or similar quantitative field.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in building developer platforms or tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with ML and large compute systems.
