About the Role
The Senior AI Engineer at you.com will play a pivotal role in advancing AI capabilities across Generative AI (e.g., large language models) and Search. This position focuses on researching, building, and deploying innovative product experiences that redefine the potential of AI assistants. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI technology.
Responsibilities
- AI Infrastructure Development: Oversee and enhance the core you.com LLM and AI infrastructure, along with the associated backend systems.
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead the development of new AI-driven projects, encompassing ideation, prototyping, research, infrastructure design, scalability, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Rapid Iteration: Adapt quickly to user feedback and evolving requirements, ensuring continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated excellence in programming and a deep understanding of systems architecture.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in shipping and scaling AI products to a large user base.
- Self-Motivation: A highly driven individual with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Research and Engineering Skills: A strong ability and passion for conducting both research and core engineering work.
- Educational Background: A BS, MS, or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
