Our client, a well-established business based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant with 5+ years experience working in and Irish Accounting Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a significant portfolio of diverse clients across accounts,
audit and tax. - Preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
- Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base.
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Actively manage work-in-progress (WIP), billing, and debtors within the client portfolio, ensuring optimal profitability.
- Maintain strong client relationships, managing client expectations, and proactively
seeking client feedback. - Delivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
- Reviewing team members work, providing training and guidance.
Requirements:
- ACCA/CPA/ACA Qualified
- 5+ years experience within and Irish practice environment
