Senior Professional level role with subject matter expertise as a Scrum Master. Typically Scrum Masters at this level work with multiple teams at a time. They have system-wide responsibility on complex components or complex initiatives. Provide direction for entire initiative or an initiative team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Key Contributor to initiative success.

  • May be called upon to troubleshoot, solve, or consult on, highly technical, complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Navigate the organization to manage dependencies and remove impediments.

  • Responsible for ensuring Truist SDLC is appropriately followed.

  • Work under minimal supervision.

  • Provide input to initiative-related decisions.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Assist with the transfer of knowledge of Agile skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and related training or experience, including experience in a Scrum Master role

  • Seven+ years of professional experience, two+ years of experience working on or with agile teams, three+ years in a delivery role (developer, tester, architect, BA, business owner, etc.)Working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies

  • Detailed knowledge of several IT and non-IT/Agile skills and tools and their application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study

  • Subject Matter Expertise in a specific Segment/LOB/Function such as a Technical SME

  • Experience in the banking industry
