SAP MM Consultant (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement (MM) consultant to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center of Excellence in Madrid. In this role, you will contribute to global SAP S/4HANA deployments, shaping the future of our procurement and materials management processes across multiple countries. You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr runs its business worldwide.

Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we are currently setting up a new office location.

Creating passion: your responsibilities

• Drive the successful implementation of SAP MM within our global S/4HANA transformation program, ensuring consistency with the Liebherr global template.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP MM solutions (including configuration and customization), with a focus on sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, supplier management, and procurement analytics.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance across all project phases: Design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live support.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to empower key users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to change management activities, ensuring adoption of new processes and S/4HANA solutions.
• Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with an international, cross-functional team to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that support our global growth.
• Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience as an SAP MM and procurement consultant, with hands-on exposure to international SAP deployments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement implementations, ideally in large-scale, industrial manufacturing, multinational environments with Sales and Services business models.
• Strong process knowledge in procure-to-pay, supplier management, inventory management, sourcing, and their integration points with SD, FI, CO, EWM etc, and non-SAP solutions (e.g. supplier portals, e-procurement).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and value.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement certification or equivalent credentials are a strong plus.
