Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Sales Manager to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This person will join the founding management team, and will have a great impact on not only building and leading the field sales team, but also defining our GTM strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of enterprise Account Executives, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, driving Airbyte’s continued expansion in the market.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Product) to align sales strategies with company objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Manage sales forecasting, reporting, and overall pipeline management, ensuring accurate and timely performance tracking.
- Bring creative solutions to complex challenges, iterating on our sales process as we grow and scale.
- Inspire a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, and ongoing improvement.
- Encourage and support continuous learning and understanding of a technical product and technical customer base
What You'll Need
- 4+ Years of sales management experience in B2B sales within SaaS / Cloud / Data platforms.
- Demonstrated history of driving revenue and exceeding quota attainment
- Proven ability to solve complex business problems and adapt to the fast-changing nature of high-growth companies.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
