We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to conduct sales, including development and account management activities, as well as establishing a strong corporate presence in the U.S market.
You will report directly to the Senior VP of Sales and your responsibility will be to actively identify, recruit, manage and optimize long-term relationships with Benefit Brokers, HR Managers, Health, and Ancillary Product carriers as well as directly calling large multi-state employers. We are looking for an individual that is comfortable reaching out, getting in front of the right prospects, and maintaining long term relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the overall sales targets of the company's B2B channels by initiating and creating new account revenue.
- Must be comfortable and committed to consistent and aggressive territory-based outreach.
- Manage, utilize, and facilitate the growth of the territory sales database and other sales operations tools.
- Report directly to the senior VP of Sales and work closely with UVP’s CEO.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on sales in health insurance or voluntary benefit sectors.
- Flexibility to manage and close both small and large enterprise deals.
- Proven track record that demonstrates consistent goal achievements.
- Superior communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills).
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience in building, managing, and coaching a sales team.
