Room Attendant

Job summary: 

The ideal room attendant is responsible for replacing towels and changing bed linens, as well as performing general cleaning of all surfaces in the guest rooms. 

Shift requirements:

Currently searching for shifts ranging from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday and 9:00am to 5:30pm on Saturday & Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the team within the department
• Prepare for any and all guest requests
• Participate in on-going training
• Clean all assigned guest rooms/suites
• Replacing linen, vacuum floor, dust and clean bathrooms
• Remove all dirty bedding and pillowcases and replace them with fresh, clean linens
• Assure that guests have what they need for a comfortable stay in the hotel by replenishing complimentary items and provide great customer service. 
• Guest rooms must be clean within allotted time frame while following safety/security procedures according to hotel standards
• Comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel/CRO operations.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards as required by scheduling which will vary dependent upon the CRO needs
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications: Customize as needed

• Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
• Communicates effectively with others
• 2+ yrs of previous Room Attendant experience
• Able to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining a high quality of work.
• Friendly and respectful when dealing with guests and staff.
