****About the Role****
**Applied Materials is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient **Robotics Automation Engineer Manager** to lead robotics innovation within our warehouse operations. This newly created role will be based in Singapore and will play a pivotal part in establishing and managing a **Cobot Lab** focused on automating the build of robotics solutions for custom packing boxes for high-volume daily shipments.**
**The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in robotics engineering, hands-on experience with robotic arms and end-of-arm tooling, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from concept to deployment.**
****Key Responsibilities****
- ****Robotics Lab :****
- **Design, configure, and test collaborative robotic (Cobot) systems for packaging automation.**
- **Develop and validate robotic arm setups and tooling for real-world packaging use cases.**
- **Ensure operational reliability, safety, and scalability.**
- ****Solution Development:****
- **Architect and implement robotics systems for material handling, sorting, and inventory workflows.**
- **Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and performance validation.**
- ****Project Management:****
- **Lead robotics automation projects across warehouse operations.**
- **Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.**
- **Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.**
****Qualifications****

- **Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.**
