Meta's Reality Labs is seeking Research Scientist interns to join our Imaging Experiences Architecture team. These positions aim to advance our understanding of computational display, graphics pipelines, and the human visual system, to optimize the design and development of next generation augmented and virtual reality systems. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work with the pioneering researchers and engineers working to define the future of these technologies, and have an opportunity to contribute to planned product architectures and algorithms.
We are accepting applications from students interested in (but not limited to) the following areas:
Computational display and graphics
- Novel display and graphics technologies (VR/AR)
- Low Power Display and Graphics architectures
- Computational imaging (deconvolution/reconstruction)
- Tone mapping / gamut mapping
- Colorimetry / color correction/mapping
- Visual quality metrics
Vision science / Applied perception
- Computational modeling of the visual system
- Spatio-temporal contrast sensitivity, flicker sensitivity
- Motion perception
- Perception of luminance and contrast
- Attention-aware modeling, eye movements
Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long and have various start dates throughout the year.
