We are looking for a Reporting Specialist with a passion for building meaningful reports to support decision-making. This role is global in scope and focuses on transforming business needs into actionable insights by analyzing data, integrating it from multiple sources, and automating reporting workflows. You will support the end-to-end operational performance of teams across the globe and assist leadership with identifying performance drivers.
In this role, you will:
Proactively transforms manual reporting into automated, scalablesolutions by leveraging Python and SQL, resulting in streamlined workflows and improved data accuracy.
Responds swiftly to business requests by crafting SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze operational data on demand.
Consolidates data from diverse systems (e.g., subscription platforms, case management tools) into unified reporting structures.
Supports dashboard development by preparing clean, query-optimized datasets for visualization tools like Tableau.
Troubleshoots data inconsistencies, performance issues, and logic errors in SQL scripts and Python workflows.
Collaborates with business leads to understand reporting needs and translates them into scalable technical solutions that support strategic decision-making.
Maintains clear documentation of queries, scripts, and data flows in Confluence and Jira to support team learning and operational continuity.
Keeps up with evolving best practices in SQL optimization and Python automation to enhance team capabilities.
Supports business metrics reviews and holds parties accountable for execution, quality, and performance.
Trains and develops key reporting staff to hand over standardized reporting and knowledge to review/understand and draw data-driven conclusions.
Translates complex technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Finance Operations, Business Analysis, Analytics, and/or Project Management
Minimum 1 year of proven hands-on experience in reporting, analyzing, and validating large volumes of data from different systems and sources
Advanced computer skills, including Tableau (or similar BI tool), Qlik Sense, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python
Proactive, organized, and able to meet deadlines with excellence
Skilled in knowledge sharing and training others to enable self-service reporting
Strong critical thinking skills; able to see the "big picture" while also diving into details where necessary
Effective communicator with all levels within the organization, demonstrating strong business acumen to tailor messages, influence decisions, and align with strategic goals
Comfortable working in a multicultural, global team environment
