Join a Leading Provider of Supported Accommodation as a Regional Operations Manager
Are you an experienced leader in supported living or youth services seeking a rewarding management role? Our client, a reputable specialist provider of supported accommodation, is looking for a dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple supported living services across Newport, Gwent, and Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, lead dedicated teams, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and vulnerable adults
Job Title: Regional Operations Manager – Supported Accommodation Services
Location: Newport, Gwent, and Bristol, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the Bristol Deputy 16+ Manager, guiding their progression towards becoming a Registered Service Manager (1 day a week required to work from Bristol Services)
Oversee the day-to-day operations of supported living services in Newport and Bristol
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service efficiency and compliance
Lead, mentor, and develop support teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Collaborate with senior management to shape strategic plans and service improvements
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including service users, families, community partners, and local authorities
Stay informed on sector trends, government policies, and funding opportunities to support service growth
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience within supported accommodation, youth services, or children’s residential homes
Proven success in managing multiple locations or properties
Recent experience as a Supported Accommodation Manager or Children’s Home Manager
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification
Level 4 Diploma for Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner or similar
Solid understanding of Ofsted-supported accommodation standards and/or CIW regulations
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across service areas
Excellent report writing, IT, and data management skills
Relevant safeguarding, health & safety training (Level 2/3)
Additional Qualifications (Desirable):
Certification in property management
Degree in Youth and Community Work
Designated Safeguarding Lead/Officer
Experience in community engagement or customer service

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, ideally in supported accommodation, youth services, or residential care
Proven ability to manage multiple locations and motivate teams
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting
Familiarity with property and support management software
Flexibility to travel within the service region as needed
