Executive Summary
CSG East seeks a Regional Director to provide visionary, nonpartisan leadership as the organization approaches its next century of service. Reporting to the Executive Committee, the Regional Director will oversee all operations and staff, strengthen member engagement, expand partnerships and funding, and ensure organizational sustainability and impact.
With a $3 million annual budget, $4 million in reserves, and a team of 8 full-time staff and 5 part-time consultants, CSG East advances collaboration across government branches and fosters regional solutions in key policy areas such as health, energy, transportation, education, and trade.
The ideal candidate is an experienced executive with deep knowledge of state government, a record of collaborative leadership, strong communication skills, and proven success in strategic management and fundraising. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000–$250,000, along with comprehensive benefits. This hybrid role requires residence within commuting distance of CSG East's New York City office.
