• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, DOT and other applicable standards and regulations

• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including product failures, customer complaints, or specifications deviations

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports and certifications

• Collaborate with production staff to maintain consistency in batching, delivery and application

• Train and mentor quality control technicians and field personnel

• Act as the company’s technical liaison with clients, contracts, engineers and regulatory bodies

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

• Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, QC, or ready-mix production (preferred)

Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, testing procedures, and material science

• Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, DOT specs

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills

• Experience working in plant, field, and lab environments

Why It Matters:

At Ozinga, we’re committed to making a positive impact – on our coworkers, our customers, and the communities we serve.

As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll be part of that impact by ensuring product integrity, customer confidence, and a strong foundation for what’s next.
