QA Test Analyst

Typical Day in the Role:
- Stand-up Meeting, Sprint planning, test scheduling and test execution
- Testing as per the Acceptance criteria defined in user stories
- iOS / Android App installation using XCode / Android Studio
- Validation of client side and server-side error messages, requests / responses through Charles Proxy
- Create Test Strategy, come up with Test Device Matrix and review with program team
- Execute test scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Exploratory Testing, Backward compatibility testing
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
- Validation of API endpoints using Dynatrace
- Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
- Identify, analyse, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

Must Have Skills/Requirements:
1. 5-7 years of hands-on Testing experience with Native mobile apps - iOS & Android
2. 2+ years’ Mobile Banking testing experience - Please submit resumes with recent experience in the last 5 Years ONLY
3. 2+ Years combined experience- Most Recent project experience with Charles Proxy AND Postman (both are required)
4. 2 + years’ native accessibility testing using JAWS Screen Mirror + Screen Magnifying tools (all mobile testers run accessibility testing and work with team on developers)
5. 2+ years of QA/QC Test Lead experience

Nice to Have Skills:
1. French testing experience
2. Bilingual in French is a plus
3. Recent relevant Banking Industry Experience
4. Automation testing experience

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communications skills to coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and expectations without direct instruction or oversight
- Fast, adaptable learner who can hit the ground running
- Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism
- Must be able to collaborate closely with a team at times, while also being capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines without hand holding

Education or certifications:
- Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- ISTQB certification an asset
