Is this you?

We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented QA Analyst to join our team. You’ll be embedded within our cross functional Squad teams, operating within a scrum framework, and contributing directly to upcoming features and projects. This role involves close collaboration with developers across iOS, Android, and web clients, as well as our server and design teams, ensuring a seamless and high quality user experience across all platforms. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are reliable, performant, and ready for release, contributing to both manual and automated testing processes.

We’ll need someone who can liaise with a variety of stakeholders. Not just testing with a functional mindset but expecting you to take into consideration the usability and user experience of the feature. You will play a pivotal role in structuring tests and highlighting risks and QA concerns ahead of releases.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Determined By Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with QA Lead to ensure a unified and effective testing strategy across all engineering initiatives.
  • Execute comprehensive test plans to validate product releases and uphold reliability standards.
  • Identify, document, and track quality issues with precision and clarity.
  • Partner with software developers and QA analysts to devise practical solutions to testing challenges.
  • Reproduce, verify, and track product issues, including regression testing of bug fixes.
  • Manage and monitor active Jira boards, executing QA tickets and transitioning them appropriately through workflow stages.
  • Coordinate with external beta testing teams to gather actionable feedback.
  • Generate and maintain bug reports based on the latest test builds.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to documentation and reporting.
  • Experience collaborating closely with software development teams in an Agile or cross functional setting.
  • Have proven working experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive tests plans and test cases.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with mobile games testing or gaming user experience within a QA environment.
  • Proficient in programming with JavaScript, particularly for test automation purposes.
  • Background in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
