Role Mandate: Ensures the quality of the products that technology delivers, working closely with all applications, common services/middleware, and infrastructure teams throughout the development/engineering lifecycle. Designs, develops, executes, and maintains test plans of Wealth, Treasury and Finance applications. Records and documents testing results and compares them to expected results. Detects solution failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected. Generates historical analysis of test results and maintains a list/repository of defects. This individual would regularly interact with QA 's from other teams within client and with external vendors.
Role Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinates with the appropriate parties to create test plans, execute the test plan, monitoring progress, and escalating as required
• Experience with creating test cases and requirements traceability.
• Assists with creation of synthetic data for SIT testing. Any exposure in using GenAI to create synthetic test data would be highly preferable.
• Coordinates the work of SIT and UAT testers and ensures defects are being entered in ALM.
• Coordinates with developers to conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the PM to track QA activities and provide status updates on a regular basis.
Must-Have Skills:
• Test data creation. Exposure to GenAI to generate test data would be an asset.
• Data analysis/modelling skills
• Strong understanding of Wealth and Finance systems
• SQL - writing, executing complex queries and analyzing results
• Test metrics understanding and creation
• Prior experience with large migration and modernization projects
