As a project manager. You will serve as a key role within the technical department, leading and deeply participating in the software development, datacenter related operation and maintenance projects, not limited to design, development, deployment, and full lifecycle maintenance of the company's cross-border payment system. You need to have a high pursuit of quality and delivery, system stability, and security to ensure that the team can provide secure, stable, and efficient services to users worldwide.
What you’ll do
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead overall project planning, including scope definition, detailed scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Ensure clear project goals and effective execution
- Agile Project Management: Guide the team in implementing Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve the development process
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the core leader of the project team, motivating and empowering team members, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and high-performing team environment
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the communication hub for the project, maintaining clear and transparent communication between the teams, and stakeholders. Regularly report on project progress, risks, and outcomes
- Risk Management & Problem Solving: Systematically identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies. Ability to quickly address issues and changes that arise during the project to ensure smooth progress
- Quality & Progress Monitoring: Utilize project management tools to monitor project progress and quality, ensuring deliverables meet expectations and making timely adjustments to plans as needed
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects from inception to completion.
- Must be proficient in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) with substantial hands-on experience
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effective cross-border/cultural communication and documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with common project management software and collaboration tools
- Good teamwork spirit and cross-cultural communication skills, able to adapt to multi time zone collaboration
- Strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness
- Experience with cloud infrastructure projects, familiar with the integration or management of public cloud services (e.g., AliCloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Relevant project experience in the payment institution, financial services, or fintech companies is a plus
- Project management certifications such as PMP, ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus
