Your mission

  • Tractebel is primarily an Owner’s Engineer, who provides technical, design and problem solving support to its Clients.
  • The Project Engineers in our team work closely with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Subject Matter Experts and
  • Installation/Construction/Maintenance/Inspection Contractors to co-ordinate engineering efforts and solve problems
  • To ensure that projects and problem solving happens within budget and on schedule, at the appropriate level of Quality and Safety.

Your key responsibilities

  • Technical Problem Solving
  • Tender Development and compilation
  • Sitework or Contractor oversight
  • Technical Quality Assurance
  • Technical Interface between Client, Contractors, Tractebel Engineering Competence Centres, and Tractebel Management
  • Engineering Design
  • Contribution to Tractebel business improvement initiatives
  • Supporting Quality, Cost and Time objectives
  • Performs and participates in engineering design

We would love to hear from people with

  • BSc Elec Eng (Elec/Elec-Mech) or BSc (Civil). BTech Qualifications will also be considered.
  • This role is intended for candidates with more than a year of work experience but new graduates will be considered.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in teams

  • Willing to travel occasionally for short-term assignments (international travel possible when the need arises).
