Position Summary:

The Missouri Historical Society seeks a part-time Production Technician who can work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of work that requires high attention to details and strategic thinking. Production Technicians provide high quality staging and technical support at Missouri Historical Society properties. This includes but is not limited to audio, video, lighting and stage production.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and safeguard the institution's production equipment
  • Deliver, set-up and breakdown equipment for presentations and events
  • Operate lighting boards, audio mixers, microphones and LIVE production switchers
  • Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Completed at least 2 years of vocational program, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's Degree in audio production, video production, theater studies, or related field preferred
  • Knowledgeable of PC and MAC based applications and connectivity, LIVE audio and video production; audio and video editing software
  • Flexible availability: Must have availability at least three weekdays per week [6am-4pm], three weekday evenings per week [4pm-11pm] and one weekend [9am-7pm] each week. Schedules vary each week based on needs
