Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and on-time delivery. This role leads and coordinates production teams, manages resources, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Responsabilidades
Mains Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate production activities across assigned shifts/areas (assembly, sheet metal, powder coating, molding, etc.).
Ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Monitor performance metrics (productivity, scrap, rework, downtime, etc.) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Lead and motivate production teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Coordinate with support departments (Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, HR, Logistics) to resolve issues and optimize processes.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards (OSHA, ISO, internal policies).
Conduct shift meetings, assign work, and follow up on priorities and targets.
Identify training needs, coach employees, and support career development within the production area.
Participate in audits, problem-solving initiatives, and lean manufacturing/Kaizen projects.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 3–5 years in a supervisory role within the manufacturing sector.
Knowledge:
Manufacturing processes (sheet metal, painting, molding, assembly).
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Production planning and KPI management.
Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
