Position Description : Responsible for managing all aspects of the production department. This includes planning and organizing production schedules,
responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output, managing production budget and resources. In addition, this position is
responsible for managing multiple shifts of Production Supervisors.
Major Responsibilities:
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production employees & supervisors.
- Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep shop floor accident-free.
- Communicating regularly with upper` management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Review worker performance and identify training needs
Education/ Experience: Diploma or BE/B.Tech with relevant 15-18 years of experience. (Preferably Electrical)
Technical Skills/Knowledge : Working knowledge of Production Management Systems, Quality Standards and HSE regulations.
