Overview
Provides full layout, graphic design, and production services for various corporate and promotional PRINT and WEB/DIGITAL materials for all Glentel divisions and TCG Groups as required. As member of the marketing team, works to create a full range of time and cost-sensitive communications materials.
Print: Ranging from one colour (newspaper print) advertisements and flyers, through 2 colour newsletter and brochures to the higher end 4 colour brochures, reports and promotional materials.
Web/Digital: a range of digital/web promotional marketing materials, animated gifs, web tiles and banners, etc. .
Responsibilities
Layout
• Provides graphic design within predetermined formats and guidelines
• Makes design recommendations during conceptual stage for projects
• Provides various options of design treatments, when required
• Sources images, effective methods of production, paper stock for projects
• Ensures compliance with corporate identity standards and partner co-op guidelines
Graphic design
• Provides graphic design within predetermined formats and guidelines
• Designs marketing communications materials
• Designs customized digital images by manipulating royalty-free stock images
Digital design
• Flash ads - creative idea to execution
• Web page creative idea to execution - or other digital offerings we decide on moving forward
• Website landing pages for new phone launches (example LG G2)

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• 5 plus years of work experience in graphic design and production
• 2 plus years of digital media experience
• Formal education in graphic design
• Agency experience is a bonus
Technical Skills:
• A solid technical comprehension and can learn new tools quickly
• Able to work fast, under tight deadlines
• Advance Adobe CS4-6 Suite software skills
• Basic Knowledge of HTML and experienced with various content management systems i.e Sitefinity, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc
• Experience using social media and SEO tracking/aggregation software to effectively monitor benchmarks for measuring impact of social media & SEO/SEM programs—analyze, review, and report on the successes of campaigns/programs to maximize results i.e. Raventool, SEOMoz
• Manage keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases
• Plus to have some knowledge of a web application like Dreamweaver or Flash
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Keynote
• Excellent communication and written skills in English, French is a definite asset
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously
